Log Haven Restaurant: An Unforgettable Culinary Journey

The next destination on our adventures with Salt Lake City, Utah. We arrived just in time to make a reservation that I had made at Log Haven Restaurant, It was nothing short of extraordinary! From the breathtaking views of the national forest to the delectable meals served, it was a culinary journey to remember.

The meal started with an awesome crabcake topped with jalapeño pesto and a delightful mango pignoli salsa. We followed it with a mixed salad that had pickled onions with a house-made vinaigrette, Yum! Oh, I forgot to mention that we opted for their signature wine, "Swan Song," a great red blend that paired perfectly with our selections.

Main Course: A Feast for All Senses

For the main course, Shelly had the miso-glazed halibut, served with udon noodles, shishito peppers, and trumpet mushrooms. She raved about the combination of flavors and said the halibut was to cooked to perfection. I had the bison strip with brussel sprouts and pomme fritz. While bison is not typically something I would order, I took the recommendation of our waiter who said it was a favorite of his. Glad I listened, he was right!

Sweet Endings: Desserts to Remember

No culinary experience would be complete without desserts, and Log Haven did not disappoint. We indulged in a seasonal peaches fruit crisp, topped with oats and ice cream, a tribute to summer's finest offerings. And, of course, my all-time favorite, the crème brûlée, left a lingering sweetness on my palate.

While the possibility of rain led us to choose an

indoor seating, we were still lucky enough to have a fantastic view. Log Haven's intimate and romantic ambiance is known for being one of the top 10 most romantic restaurants in the U.S. and made for an unbelievable dining experience.
