Welcome to our journey through the charming locales of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, where we had an incredible time!

Our adventure began at Hilton Head National RV Resort. It was an extremely nice RV resort with spacious sites, an incredible clubhouse with workout facilities and a game room any tween would find "awesome". They also had an incredible pool and lazy river that would have been great to experience but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for that. If that wasn't enough, the winding trails that you could get on right from your site made this a 10 for us!

Eager for a taste of local flavor for a good brunch before setting out on the day's adventures, we headed to Nectar Farm Kitchen, drawn by its rustic charm and promises of farm-to-table options. While the service and food were not the best, we loved the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy live music on their patio. It was a 10 for ambiance and a 5 for food and service.

After brunch, we took in some of the rich history of the region at Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park, where the echoes of the past whispered tales of resilience and freedom. Walking in the footsteps of the first free colony, we were humbled by the courage and determination of those who came before us.

Thirsting for more, we sought out the local distilleries that dotted the landscape. Hilton Head Distillery greeted us with some flavorful libations and we played some UNO while enjoying a charcuterie board. Then on to Burnt Church Distillery really stood out with its old-world charm, top-notch surroundings, and artisanal craftsmanship.

The next day, we took a leisurely stroll through Shelter Cove and Marina. There were quaint shops and waterfront views but not a lot of activity on a rainy Sunday. Then on to Coligny Beach Park, where the soothing sound of waves provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. Of course, no Hilton Head Island visit would be complete without a stop at the beach!

Enter Giuseppi's Pizza for dinner where we feasted on piping hot cauliflower crust pies and fresh salads. They were really yummy and met our the approval of these food enthusiasts.

Even though our trip to Hilton Head was a bit dampened by the rainy weather, we made the best of it by taking in some great food, drinks, and awe-inspiring sights. We did agree that we would need to come back in the late spring or summer to really appreciate the area.

So here's to Hilton Head Island and Bluffton – may your shores always be welcoming, your history rich with stories, and your adventures endless. Until we meet again, keep exploring and embracing the magic that awaits around every corner.

Until next time, keep spinning the wheel of adventure!

Happy RVing!
