If you're a fellow traveler with a penchant for unique and memorable experiences, then Keel and Curley Winery should be on your list! Our journey led us to this hidden gem, and it turned out to be one of the most extraordinary Harvest Host stops we've ever encountered. Join us as we recount our delightful visit to this working farm, nestled amidst the charm of local community support, live music, delectable food, and intriguing wines and ciders.
A Warm Welcome

Keel and Curley Winery welcomed us with open arms, marking our Harvest Host site with unmistakable signs. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, providing us with an entire open field for a peaceful evening. We couldn't help but appreciate the added touch of a picnic table for those who wished to dine al fresco while overlooking the picturesque farm.
Sip and Savor
Our adventure began as we ventured towards the tasting room, where for just $15, we sampled six of their most popular wines. The selection was diverse, ranging from dry blueberry wines to refreshing sangrias. Even for those who typically shun sweet wines, Keel and Curley managed to surprise us with some unexpectedly delicious options that prompted us to purchase a bottle to remember the visit.
Feast for the Senses

As the evening unfolded, we found ourselves at the dinner table, ready to indulge in more delightful offerings. The choices were plenty, as we were presented with the opportunity to create a customized flight of four beverages. These flights could include a variety of ales, ciders, or more of their wines. Being a fan of diversity, I opted for a combination of ales and ciders, and I can confidently say that it did not disappoint.
Culinary Delights
Our culinary journey at Keel and Curley began with a bang – two appetizers that set the tone for a scrumptious evening. The pierogies and southern charcuterie board were nothing short of heavenly, featuring tantalizing treats such as fried pork belly, pimento cheese, boiled peanuts, and an array of pickled delights. Following these mouthwatering starters, we savored a side salad before indulging in our main courses.
I couldn't resist trying the wine burger, complete with a side of perfectly crispy fries. Meanwhile, Shelly opted for the Nashville hot chicken flatbread. Both dishes were packed with flavor, making every calorie consumed more than worthwhile - it only took us a couple of days to recover! LOL
An Unforgettable Experience
If you find yourself in the area, we wholeheartedly recommend either staying or making a pit stop at Keel and Curley Winery. The combination of a working farm, a charming tasting room, and a culinary journey that delights the senses is an experience that should not be missed. Keel and Curley truly left an indelible mark on our hearts and our taste buds, and we can't wait for our next adventure to bring us back to this hidden treasure.
Until next time, keep spinning the wheel of adventure!
Happy RVing!
